ACME Education is currently recruiting qualified teachers in the following subjects:
- IELTS / SAT / SSAT
- G8-10 Science / G8-G12 Math / Calculus / Physics / Biology and Chemistry
- IB English / Math / Science subjects
- G8-G12 English
- G10 Social Studies
- English reading and writing
- University Essays
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 1 years related teaching experience
- Bachelor’s degree at least
- Familiar with BC education system
- IELTS overall score 7.5 or above for IELTS candidate teachers
- Familiar with BC Grade 8-12 curriculum
- Provide a well-balanced, supportive, and engaging learning environment for students at different levels
- Fully conversant with the test formats and the experience of exploiting testing approaches and techniques in class to optimize learning outcomes
- Demonstrate good classroom management skills, communication skills, and interpersonal skills
- A strong sense of responsibility and teamwork is essential.
Preferred Skills:
- For English and Social Studies candidate teachers, major in English or Literature is preferred
- BC Teaching certification is preferred
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin is an asset
